1. What we collect
Runquest may collect account information, profile details, selected preferences, workout records, route coordinates, distance, duration, pace, elevation, territory claims, social interactions, support requests, reports, blocks, notification settings, device push tokens, purchase entitlement status, diagnostics, and product analytics.
Precise location is collected when you record a workout or use a location-based feature. Background location may be used during an active workout so recording can continue when the app is not in the foreground.
2. Why we use it
We use data to authenticate your account, record activities, calculate workout metrics, render route maps, generate territory claims, notify you about relevant territory changes, personalize recommendations, provide social features, prevent abuse, restore subscription access, improve reliability, and answer support requests.
3. Location and territory
Your recorded route can create territory visuals and activity maps. Territory data is derived from your route. Social visibility settings may affect what other users see. Do not record routes in areas where publishing a route could reveal sensitive personal information.
4. Service providers
Runquest may use infrastructure and service providers such as Supabase for backend services, Mapbox for maps, Expo for app delivery and push notifications, RevenueCat for subscription entitlements, and Apple or Google for store services. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Your controls
You can manage notification preferences in the app. You can request account deletion, request data deletion, report content, block users, restore purchases, and manage your store subscription through the linked support pages.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account-linked records unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
